2019–2022 Management of the Comprehensive Renovation of the Porto Pi Shopping Centre
A large-scale project that completely transformed both the interior and exterior spaces of the building, improving its functionality, aesthetics, accessibility and technical efficiency.
Main actions of the project:
- Complete renovation of all ceilings in areas open to the public.
- Complete replacement of the interior lighting system.
- Complete replacement of flooring in commercial areas.
- Reorganisation of access points and internal circulation, creating new direct connections with Joan Miró Avenue and Gabriel Roca Avenue.
- Incorporation of new lifts and escalators, improving accessibility and traffic flow.
- Complete modernisation of air conditioning and fire protection systems.
- Adaptation of the development to the technical and regulatory requirements of the City Council.
- Comprehensive renovation of the car park, including refurbishment of lighting, signage and paving.
- Noteworthy work on the façade facing Avenida Gabriel Roca, incorporating an architectural lighting system and a large-format LED screen.
